2013 Louisiana Camp Joshua Dates
LCJ North (Ruston) - March 15th-17, 2013
Baton Rouge - April 5-7, 2013
Sponsored by:
Knights of Columbus, Louisiana Right to Life, and Louisiana Students for Life
LCJ, started in 2008 in Baton Rouge, is a weekend camp designed to train high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to be pro-life leaders through education and leadership skills. The Joshua Leadership Institute, a lengthier and more in depth training, is held in the summer.
LCJ is open to people of all religious denominations (or no religious denomination), although some information is presented from a Christian pro-life view.
College-age Members of Students for Life provide mentoring throughout the weekend (and receive training themselves), and other adults are present at all times to supervise, including Vince Whittington, area Coordinator of the Knights of Columbus, Cody Reed of LA Right to Life. All chaperones must be approved by the Knights of Columbus and LARTL.
More questions? Contact Cody Reed, Youth Programs Coordinator of LA Right to Life, at 1.866.463.5433 or creed@prolifelouisiana.org, or Vince Whittington, Area Coordinator of the Knights of Columbus, at 225.892.0162.
