40 Days for Life NOLA 2010!

40 Days for Life, a nationally coordinated campaign, will be happening in New Orleans from September 22nd - October 31st, 2010. While it is primarily sponsored by New Orleans Right to Life, 40 Days for Life NOLA is a project of numerous pro-life people and groups of all denominations.  See below for important events you need to attend!

Learn about the successes of 40 Days for Life NOLA 2008 and 2009.

40 Days for Life consists of three components:

• Prayer and Fasting: people of faith throughout our city joining in prayer and fasting for an end to abortion.
• Peaceful Vigil: a 40-day 12 hour a day peaceful and prayerful public vigil outside outside Louisiana's largest abortion facility in Metairie near Lakeside Mall. Visit our vigil calendar and then sign up to either "adopt" a day or hour.
• Community Outreach: taking a positive pro-life message to every corner of our city through targeted outreach.

    Join us at the annual 40 Days for Life Community Gathering to get ready for this year's campaign by through learning about the campaign, discussing ways to get involved, network with others involved, and pick up your 40 Days for Life supplies!

• 40 Days for Life Kick-Off Rally

  • Tuesday, September 21 at 6:30 PM
  • 3044 Ridegelake Dr in front of Woman's New Life Center, next door to Louisiana's largest abortion facility

Over the past two years, 24 unborn babies have been saved from abortion through the 40 Days for Life New Orleans campaign.  Help us keep that going this fall!
