2017 Bus Information: Hotard Coaches and Calco Travel

Thanks to the wonderful pro-life generosity of Hotard Coaches and Calco Travel, all groups that utilize a Hotard or Calco bus (same company) to travel to the Louisiana Life March South in Baton Rouge will receive a 20% discount on their total rate! Please contact Hotard or Calco ASAP to schedule your bus for your church or group, as buses will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Whether online or on the phone, be sure to mention Louisiana Life March.

Hotard and Calco have bus centers in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Biloxi. However, they will work with people from across the state either by picking up or coordinating through affiliates. Please contact them right away

Parking / Directions

Ample street parking is available in downtown Baton Rouge, and all street parking meters are not active, so parking SHOULD be free. First Baptist Baton Rouge (529 Convention St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802 closer to the front of the march) has also generously made their parking lots available to marchers. There is also parking along River Road closer to the Capitol, and street parking is available around the Capitol.

Buses are encouraged to park in the lots along River Road.

Available Bus Trips

St. Edward's, Metairie will have a bus going to the Life March in Baton Rouge. Cost is $15 per person and includes the bus driver tip and two bottles of water. Departure time is 7:45 a.m. (please arrive by 7:30); return time is 3 p.m. Bring a bag lunch to eat on the bus ride home. Registrations will be taken until the bus is filled. Our Lady of the Lake, Mandeville, will have a bus going to the Life March in Baton Rouge. Departure time is 8 a.m, and return time is about 3 p.m. The bus will stop at Piccadilly Cafeteria for lunch after the march and rally. Cost is $15 per person, due by Jan. 13. (This does not include the cost of your lunch.) Please contact Judith Bono at 985-778-1513.  All are welcome! (Note: if you would like to attend the rally, but do not want to walk the march, the bus can drop you off at the new State Capitol, where everyone will join up for the rally).

St. Margaret Mary, Slidell, will have a bus going to the Life March in Baton Rouge. The bus departs from St. Margaret Mary at 7:15 a.m., then picks up passengers at St. Luke at 7:45 a.m. before heading to Baton Rouge. The bus will return to Slidell around 2:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. Bring a bag lunch. Water will be provided. To reserve a spot call Mary at 985-643-9547 or Eileen at 985-649-6281.
