The Louisiana Life March South is heading back to downtown Baton Rouge in 2016!


Life March South activities will begin at 9:30 a.m. with pre-event remarks and program at Galvez Plaza behind the Old State Capitol.  

The March for Life will begin at 10 a.m., concluding at or near the State Capitol at 10:45 a.m. At that point, the formal program of the event will begin.

Speakers include:

- David Scotton, LSU senior who was almost aborted 20 years ago; A documentary is being made about his story right now called "I Lived on Parker Avenue"
- Pastor Tommy Middleton, Baptist Association of Greater Baton Rouge
- Personal Testimony from Sancha Noel Smith, State Director, Concerned Women for America of Louisiana
- Honorable Leslie Ellison, New Orleans School Board member


Life March South is sponsored by Louisiana Right to Life, Louisiana Baptist Convention, Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops, United Pentecostal Church of Louisiana, Louisiana Family Forum, the Knights of Columbus, Baton Rouge Right to Life, the Susan B. Anthony List, Caring to Love Ministries, and Louisiana's Concerned Women for America


Unite the pro-life people of Louisiana, across all denominational lines, to take a stand for life in our state's capital city, and mobilize them with resources to go make a difference in their community. We believe the Louisiana Life March can lead toward an abortion-free Louisiana.
