The 2nd Annual Louisiana Life March Central will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, a week after the Louisiana Life March North in Shreveport-Bossier and two weeks after the Louisiana Life March South in Baton Rouge. The march and accompanying program is from 10 a.m. to noon.
The event will begin on the grounds of Louisiana College in Pineville. The 1.6-mile march will go down Main Street toward the Jackson Street Bridge, cross the bridge and conclude at the amphitheater on the Alexandria side of the Red River, where speakers and musicians will lead the audience in prayer for life.
Speakers will include state Attorney General Jeff Landry, Sancha Smith with Concerned Women of America, Louisiana, and the Rev. Brian Gunter.
Life March Central is sponsored by Louisiana Right to Life, Louisiana College, Louisiana Baptist Convention, Catholic Diocese of Alexandria, United Pentecostal Church of Louisiana, Louisiana Family Forum, the Knights of Columbus, and Concerned Women for America
Unite the pro-life people of Louisiana, across all denominational lines, to take a stand for life in our state's capital city, and mobilize them with resources to go make a difference in their community. We believe the Louisiana Life March can lead toward an abortion-free Louisiana.
