Learn how to have successful, non-confrontational conversations about abortion with anyone during this two-hour class.
Clelie Carpenter, Baton Rouge Right to Life Board member and 40 Days for Life Outreach Coordinator, will present this class. Clelie is a pro-life prayer leader at Bethany Church and a sidewalk counselor at the Delta abortion facility through the Saving Babies/Loving Mothers ministry. She and her husband, Charles, coordinate Bethany's two days at 40 Days for Life. They also help lead monthly door to door canvassing to raise awareness about the harmful effects of abortion.

The annual Life Chain event, which invites churches in cities across North America to stand on a designated local sidewalk and pray for 60 minutes for God's healing of our communities and our nation, takes place in Baton Rouge on Sunday, Oct. 1, from 2-3 p.m.
Those who want to participate should gather for a short prayer at 1:45 p.m. across the street from the Delta abortion facility at 756 Colonial Drive. Participants will then head to the sidewalk stretching from Airline Highway westward on Goodwood Boulevard.
This will be a peaceful prayer effort with silent prayers for all areas of the pro-life movement. Signs with positive, life affirming messages will be provided.
