What is PULSE Immersion?

PULSE Immersion is formerly Louisiana Camp Joshua, which was started in 2008 in Baton Rouge. It is a weekend camp designed to train high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors to be pro-life leaders through education and leadership skills. The PULSE Leadership Institute, a lengthier and more in depth training, is held in the summer.

The camp is open to people of all religious denominations (or no religious denomination), although some information is presented from a Christian pro-life view.

College-age members of Students for Life provide mentoring throughout the weekend (and receive training themselves), and other adults are present at all times to supervise.  All chaperones must be approved by the LARTL.
