40 Days for Life Baton Rouge

This fall, Baton Rouge is uniting with cities around the world in 40 Days for Life, the largest simultaneous interdenominational pro-life effort in history. A focused campaign of prayer, vigil and outreach, 40 Days for Life seeks to bring an end to the tragedy of abortion.

Last year's campaign was cancelled due to the devastating floods that hit the Baton Rouge area, but this year's campaign is back on track.

During Baton Rouge's last campaign in 2015, 13 babies were confirmed saved and more than 1,400 people gathered to pray for an end to abortion. So far, 76 babies have been saved from the 40 Days for Life Baton Rouge effort since 2011.

Many varied talents are needed to make the events even better! Please consider helping us with:
  • event planning
  • communications
  • outreach
  • site coordination
  • fundraising
  • and much more

We are again offering individualized flyers to the extent that we have pictures of your school, church or prayer group from past campaigns (and time permitting!).  Individualized flyers will help your group stay organized, but the pictures and the specific commitment shown on the flyer will also encourage people who may never have participated to come out this year.

Sample: Check out this flyer for St. John's School and Church in Plaquemine as an example of how a flyer can be tailored to your group. (click here to view St. John-Plaquemine's flyer)

Please make your request as soon as possible to get the word out about this powerful prayer campaign.

For more information contact, please contact campaign director Danielle Van Haute at (225) 242-0164 or 40daysforlifebr@gmail.com.
